History of the origin of casino
The history of gambling goes back to ancient times. People played dice and cards, using gambling as a way of entertainment and interaction. The first casinos in the modern sense appeared in Italy in the 17th century, and then spread to Europe and other continents.
In New Zealand, gambling began to develop with the arrival of European settlers in the nineteenth century. Initially it was card games and horse racing, and then came mechanical slot machines. In 1994, the country opened its first legal casino, the Christchurch Casino. Since then, casinos have become an important part of the entertainment industry and tourism sector.
